I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!

Cranberry Chicken Stuffing Balls

Chicken meatballs with the tangy sweetness of cranberries and all the flavours you love in stuffing! They can be made small as appetizers or a little larger and served with sides for a complete meal. Just adjust your cooking times.

Ingredients:

1 lb ground chicken

2 tbsps prepared cranberry sauce

1/2 cup fresh chopped cranberries

1 1/4 cups croutons (plain or flavoured, roughly crushed to measure 1 cup)

1/4 cup finely diced onion

2 tsps minced garlic

1/2 tsp celery seed

1 tsp sage

1 tsp thyme

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp pepper

1 egg

spray oil

Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet. In a large bowl, combine the chicken, cranberry sauce, chopped cranberries, onion, garlic and seasonings. Then mix in the croutons. Finally add the egg and shape into 20 - 1 1/2" balls. Place on prepared baking sheet and spray with oil. Bake for 20-23 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F. Serve with more cranberry sauce, gravy or plum sauce. Makes 20 balls
