I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!

Honey Lime Pork Tenderloin

A tangy and savory marinade makes this pork tenderloin even more tender and juicy than the cut implies.

Ingredients:
2 pork tenderloins, 1 lb each
1/3 cup olive oil
3 tbsps lime juice
2 tbsps honey
2 tsps ground cumin
2 tbsps sodium reduced soya sauce
2 tsps minced garlic

Mix everything together and reserve 1/4 cup for basting. Then marinate the pork in the rest of the marinade for at least 1 hour or even better at 6-8 hours.
Heat oil in a skillet and brown on all sides 6-8 minutes per side, basting as it browns, to an internal temperature of 150°F.

Let rest 5 minutes before cutting into 1" slices.

Two tenderloins will serve 6 people.
