I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!

Garlic Kale Chips

Yes, I finally did it. I tried kale chips and you know what...they're pretty good. Don't get me wrong they will never replace sour cream and onion chips but I bet they are waaay healthier!

Ingredients:
6 cups lightly packed kale, torn in chip sized pieces
2 tsps light olive oil
2 pinches of garlic powder
2 pinches sea salt

Wash the kale and dry very well.
Pour the olive oil over the kale, add the garlic powder and sea salt and massage with your hands to combine and soften the kale.

Spread out on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake in a 300°F oven for 10 minutes. Flip them and return to the oven for an additional 10 minutes. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
