I started this blog so my daughters could find all of our family favourite recipes in one place. It has actually grown into more than just the family favourites but also other recipes we've tried out in our kitchen. I don't like to fill up the post with alot of chatter. Sometimes there's a little story to tell, but usually I like to get right to the point. So this is for them, but hope you find some recipes that you like as well. I'll be sharing a lot of recipes, and along the way you'll find some crafty things and maybe some helpful hints too! Welcome!

Ferrero Rocher Grad Caps

It's graduation season! Looking for a cute and easy grad treat or table decor? I got you!

You'll need:
Ferraro Rocher chocolates
Small star or bead stickers
Tassels - store bought or handmade (instructions to make below)
Black or white card stock
Glue gun

Cut out cardstock in 1 1/2 inch squares. Lay the ties of the tassel on top leaving enough length for the tassel to hang down. Peel and stick star to hold tassel in place. Now turn Ferraro Rocher upside down so the paper cup/cap is on top. Glue gun a drop of glue in the center of the cap and stick the "mortar board" on top.

Easy peasy! You Got This!
Tassel making 101: (Obviously ready made ones would be easier but these handmade ones took no time to make)
Take a piece of cardboard and wrap embroidery thread around it about 8 times, then slide off cardboard and tie in the middle leaving long ends. Fold it in half and tie up near the top. The cardboard should be twice as long as the length that you want the finished tassel to be. Cut and trim the bottom of the tassel.
I originally saw this grad cap idea on PartyPinching.com
